Be Stupid Out Loud

When you are with people you trust, blurt.

It's better to express everything you think, whether it be stupid, sexist, or otherwise offensive.

If your friends are worth their salt, they'll tell you, and you'll get corrected.

Otherwise, you risk remaining misinformed or a secret jerk all your life.

I thought of this while listening to a podcast about passive racism. If I remember correctly, more than 70% of (white) people, who would never do something overtly racist, are nonetheless significantly more likely to believe that a white candidate is more qualified for a given job than a black candidate.

Get it out there.
